I've never heard of any fuel gauge issues personally. I just fill mine up until the nozzle clicks, and I hang it up. Never a problem here. Welcome to the forum!

231K is good use for sure! Congrats on the 3.0L.. overall, these are great trucks. If I had to bet on longevity I would still lean the 6.6, but that's not to say the 3.0L isn't good. Just as not as well tested at the big ones.

Welcome! You'll love the 3.0L if you do go that direction. It's probably the smoothest powertrain I've ever owned.
