I installed 1.5" front strut top spacers on my 2025 LTZ 4-door 4x4, 6'6" bed, 3.0L, then went to install the rest of the kit and noticed that my U-bolts were round on top, while the ones in the Motofab kit had a square top. Called Moto Fab, and they said they would have the round top bolts out...

Update, First, I would like to say I traded my 2021 RST for a 2025LTZ, long story, and that's not important other than the 21 was the best truck I ever owned CCV(warranty at 40K) and oil changes 70K. So put 1500 miles on the 2025 and check the engine light and hard shifts. codes P2817, P18AE...

So the cetane hydrometer that OTC sells is not accurate or good to measure it with? GM has it as a special tool to measure fuel on vehicles that are diesel and have drivability issues.

A couple of codes and a check engine light today at startup? codes P2817, P18AE, P0700, also message on cluster says " Service Transmission Now, Unable to Shift Soon." Anyone else 2025, Silverado 3.0 LTZ 1,500miles

I have tested 5 different brands here in central western side of NJ, 40 has been the highest and 38 to 39 seems to be the norm, there are no “Top Tier Diesel in my area, would love to test some top tier diesel

I just spoke with a GM Diesel Tech I worked with. He said GM now says a 36-39 Cetane rating is okay. I now teach at an Automotive Technical High School, and our Book states 45 Cetane. Now our book is copyrighted from 2023, it could be outdated. The reason would maybe be the higher fuel pressures...

15 years ago, 43 was the standard for # 2 passenger vehicle diesel, now I cant find anything over 40? weird

Try a different brand of fuel.

Has anyone measured the cetane number on the fuel they been getting, GM recamends cetane number of 44, I cant seem to find anything over 40, then I played with the sample fuels I have and added Archoil, Amsoil, Hotshot, and added 1oz of the Archoil, 1oz of the hot shot 3 oz of the amsoil to 2...

5100 s are height adjustable for the front? I levelled my truck back in 2021 when I first got it, 2" front and 1" rear, so if I get the 5100 front struts they are adjustable height and I can get rid of the top spacers completely?

Had an oil leak on mine was the front engine oil gallery plug I re-sealed it, re-sealed it all good
