So I guess I'm out of the group now. Traded my 2020 lm2 in on a 2025 Silverado 2500 trail boss gasser. Was the best truck ever when I got it but after the motor replacement I got a little nervous with warranty ending and I really liked the new interiors and the trail boss package on the 2500s. Would have considered another 1500 but too hard to find the 6-1/2 foot box in a package I liked. Will miss that 3.0. Hope they stick around and continue improving on them.

Congrats on the new truck.. sometimes peoples needs change.. I'm with you though, I'm scared of any newer vehicle with no warranty these days.. it's just to expensive when things go wrong.

Well, similar here. I traded my 2020 Sierra 1500 with the lm2 3.0 3days ago on a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate with 6.0 gas. It only has 2,547 miles and had the recall performed. Gm extended the engine warranty for 10 years or 150,000 miles,so I don’t have to worry about that. I loved my diesel which had a little over 78,000miles and expired warranty. It had a noticeable tick that was getting louder. I got nervous after hearing about the defective timing chains causing catastrophic damage around 85,000 miles,& being a $10,000 repair!😳 I had a bunch of issues with turbo until gm replaced it with a new one. Never had any problems after that. I’ll miss the mileage, but I love the way this thing sounds in sport mode and hauls ass. 😂🥴

Enjoy the new ride. We will be here if you upgrade again in this direction.
