Definitely tell your dealer that you want the reflash. My dealer had the parts already come in and I told them I want the reflash and gave them the PIP5823B . They set the apt up for the reflash. So far Im good since Oct 26.

All done it took me about an hour the above link I found very helpful !! The only clip I broke was the locking tab to the original switch plug but I think that will be ok. Works like a champ!!! Keith

LOL on mine too!!! I no what it does but who does it?? Is it a computer delete? My dealer knows nothing about it.

Just got mine reflashed today. I noticed it cranks faster and a hair longer to start. Also seems louder turning over. No idea why just things I seem to notice. Hope it works, I told the dealer if it doesnt work I will wait before I let them do the shim job,to see what else they come up with...

I go in Tues. I asked for the reflash instead of going right into the engine for the shim.

It was the cam sensor shim they ordered. They were not sure about my problem. They said normally it will throw a code and mine had no codes.

I took mine to the dealer. GM has a bulletin out for it now. They had to order a part and said they’ll fix it next week.

It has happened to my 2021 1500 3-4 times. Once it did it twice in a row!!

It’s happened to me 3 times. I thought I was doing something wrong!!!
