It wouldn’t be a problem but the engineer decided to tilt the chrome on the dash at just the right angle so that when the sun is overhead it doesn’t matter what direction you drive, the sunlight is reflected directly into your eyes. If the dash chrome was vertical it wouldn’t bother anyone.
