I recently installed a downpipe and mid-pipe on my 2011 2500, and right now I just have the DPF harness plugs tied up out of the way. I’m a bit concerned about dirt and debris getting into those connectors and causing corrosion over time.
Does anyone make proper caps or plugs to seal them off? I’ve been trying to find something similar to what’s mentioned in a guide to tuner harness plugs, but I’m not sure what the best option is.
Is it possible to remove that section of the harness entirely, or do most people just cap the connectors? I’d prefer a proper sealed plug instead of just wrapping them with tape. What do you all usually do with them after installing a TBE setup?
Thanks!
