Saw the same article myself. 25,000 miles, so far, it's been great.

I'm using one and it works fine. No issues. The only thing I notice is when I remote start the truck, it doesn't come on until I touch the screen, but it stays on.

Tell us more. How many miles? How, when, and who has serviced it? How do you use it?

I drive about 85 miles roundtrip daily for my commute 5 days a week. I don't see myself ever moving up to a 2500 or 3500. Been there done that. I have the best of both worlds now. I have a truck, and it gets reasonably good fuel mileage. Although we're not campers, it's our road trip vehicle.

What trucks have you looked at so far?

Is your truck ignition in the on position or running when trying to set up? There are plenty of online videos that walk thru the set up.

Why would you even consider Chevys over the GMC Sierra? It has fewer miles and a better engine (LZO vs LM2). You can always mount different tires if you want in the future, although be prepared for less MPG with AT tires vs all season tires.

On page 55 of my owners manual: To enable or disable auto heated or ventilated seats, select Settings > Vehicle > Climate and Air Quality > Auto Cooled or Auto Heated Seats > ON or OFF.
