I apologize if this is a redundant question however I have a 2020 Chev 1500 that purchased used and I have put 5,000-6,000 miles on it primarily short tripping although my son pulled a camper 600-700 miles round trip recently from DFW area to OK. I haven't noticed a regen since I purchased the truck and he said he didn't either on the long highway trip. I read that you can't do a manual regen on the 3.0. Should I have experienced a regen by now? Does the display indicate that you're in regen?
The biggest reason for my concern is from owning a 2013 Duramax 3500 and it stopped doing regens and the DPF got completely clogged. The dealership had to do six forced regens to clear the DPF. I don't want to be complacent and get into that situation again. Thanks in advance for any advice.
