Not feeling good about the PF66 filter

Drove 320 miles today to service accounts in East Texas. Started out morning at 22 deg F, oil temp was 22 deg F. Started right up but could hear a low whine coming from bypass. This is normal others have commented on. Let warm up a little and the low whine stopped so I left. Quickly got to 100+. Pressures were 60 for a bit then settled at speed of 80 at 30-40 and remained there for my initial trip. Oil temps got to 219 and stayed there pretty much all day running.

Checked oil levels and color when I got home. Level was good. I have 11 quarts of Mobile 1, 0-20 dexos D I poured in. Color was a clear Smoke, I could see the cross-hatch on the dip stick through the oil.

So far so good I am thinking. Report back at end of week. Driving 400 miles + tomorrow. I should put around 1200-1300 miles this week.

Finally can up with the solution for me to install the Amsoil BK23 oil bypass. Check out pictures. I removed the filter post and dremel cut the extension to allow my Hamburgers Adapter to mount to the post.

Could you provide some further clarity about your set-up?
You indicated that you "removed the filter post and dremel cut the extension", where did the filter post come from? Is this removed from the engine block where the OEM filter would screw onto? Also, could you provide the P/N of the Hamburgers Adapter you used? Thanks 1,000X‼️
