Received my first oil analysis after 40,781 miles. Been meaning to do this sooner but better late than never. First oil change was around 2,000 miles and then every 5-6K miles afterwards. So far, don't' see anything to be concerned about. At the next oil change around 45-46k miles, will switch to Mobil 1 ESP as suggested and also PPE filter. May even consider changing out the oil pan for PPE.

Results look good.

I've been wondering if these labs could start testing for rubber or rubber compounds, nylon or whatever else could be found for the oil pump drive belt.

In the beginning everybody said, nope, not gonna get an engine that has a belt submerged in oil. Absolutely no problems with premature failures that I am aware of.

gm expanded the mileage interval. I haven't heard of any 200k trucks yet, but some should be getting close.
