I’m at a loss I have 2022 gmc 1500 3.0 totally stock the last few days it’s been running rough and in park while idling it will start running rough and sputtering if given gas and it reaches 1200 rpm. It’ll also start sputtering cruising at around 60 it’s not even noticeable if you’re not looking for it and also it gets super pound in 2nd and 3rd gear but I think that may be and exhaust leak . If I’m being honest I’m not mechanically inclined so any help is appreciated I also almost for got that about 3 days ago it started telling me truck still in drive when I kill it but the shift stick is definitely in park

Tell us more. How many miles? How, when, and who has serviced it? How do you use it?

The Shift to Park is a common problem. gm uses a cheap micro switch that fails. It can be flicked by put your finger in the shifter hole.

The micro switch isn't a serviceable item. Have to by the whole assembly. DIY'ers can solder in a new switch. Some have been known to cut the two wires and splice together, bypassing switch.

I’m right at 80000 got it 50000 oil had been changed every 3000 miles using the recommended oil and it’s a daily driver and I pull my 9000lbs camper to a new location every couple months I think I have a total of about 4500 miles towing

Please tell me you do not use 0W20 while towing. I changed viscosity on my LZ0. I tow as well (boat)and 0W20 offers no protection especially for the turbo. I'm running 5W40 HD diesel oil.
New ppe trans pan, trans bypass (trans temp 120-155), bigger trans cooler, bigger ppe oil pan, and a spin on fuel filter upgrade. No issues, no oil consumption. 0W20 will burn off....
Too thin

I've never heard of that. I have an LZO and I'm trying to bullet proof mine. I've done some upgrades that I hope it will help. I put a PPE trans pan, trans bypass valve ( temp run 120-155), bigger trans cooler, PPE oil pan because factory oil pans doesn't drain all the oil out (1/2qt ish). A spin on Donaldson fuel filter and I don't use the weak 0W20. I switched to T6 5W40 HD diesel oil for better wear protection. 0W20 offers ZERO protection. Every car dealership is recommending 0W20 and every car is different. I have 2 camry's. One use 0w16 and the other recommends 0W20. I switched to 5W30. So do a little research and ask questions.
